Description: We are US based looking to outsource our requirement of Medical Billing Service. We are looking for EMS Billing and Collection Service.

Scope:
1. Billing and collection of the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Fees.
a. The contractor will provide the following services: invoicing, statement and dunning letter processing; rate adjudication; filing claims on behalf of patients with Medicare, Medicaid and third party insurance companies; collection of all EMS fees; establishing monthly payment plans, when necessary, for patients financially unable to make one full EMS Fee payment.
b. The City will establish a lock box account at its depository bank for the deposit of the EMS Fee collections. The Bank will provide remittance advice and correspondence to the contractor daily.
2. Maintain adequate records of the services performed, invoicing, statement and dunning letter processing, EMS Fee collections and EMS Fees
3. All Standard billing, collection and account status reporting formats will be in a format acceptable to the City.
a. A detail report of billing, collection, adjustments with dollar amounts and quantities.
b. A summary of EMS Fee billing and collections by month.
c. An aged accounts receivable balance report.
4. Provide a local telephone number for contact with customers concerning billing inquiries.
5. In 2009 there were 6,853 billable runs and in 2010 there were 7,040.

This is an on shore and off site tender. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than April, 15, 2011 by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings. Please refer the attachment for more details.
