Description: We are US based looking to outsource our requirement of Medical Billing Service. We are looking for Ambulance Billing and Collection (revenue recovery) Services.

Scope:
1. Emergency medical services on a per-call basis at the current prescribed rate for services rendered
2. Responsible for maintaining appropriate and accurate databases and records on patients to which services are provided
3. Ensure that the billing process is within the guidelines of applicable patient privacy laws, (HIPAA, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
4. Receive the patient care reports from the client in electronic format (or written should there be a software/hardware failure) at a minimum of a weekly basis.
5. Provide monthly reports on progress of collections to include amount billed each month, amount collected each month, outstanding balances, and accounts that the vendor is recommending for outside collections/legal actions.
6. Provide all labor and resources to conduct billing and collections for emergency medical services.
7. Maintain a local or toll free telephone number for customers to inquire about billing status, as customer inquiries to the Department of Public Safety in regards to “ambulance bills” will be referred to said vendor.

This is an on shore and off site tender. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than April, 28, 2011 by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings. Please refer the attachment for more details.
