Description: We are US based looking to outsource our requirement of Medical Billing Service. We are looking for Provision of professional billing and collection service for Emergency Medical Service (EMS).

Scope:
1. Proposer will bill for EMS First Responder services in a timely manner, pursue receipt of payments of accounts conscientiously, and provide excellent customer service to citizens/customer with billing questions or problems.
2. Fire Department Information:
- Incident Responses: 7 Fire Stations 2008, 9722 total, 7,210 EMS
- 7 Paramedic Engine Companies 2009, 9549 total, 7,142 EMS
- 2 Ladder Companies 2010, 9753 total, 7,233 EMS
3. Contractor shall invoice patients within three (3) working days of receipt of billing information.
4. In accordance with coding provided by the City, Contractor shall have the ability to create fully itemized statements showing all procedures and supplies.
5. To provide human contact for patients requiring assistance, Contractor shall provide a toll-free telephone number.
6. Have the ability to handle third party pay or submissions and inquiries regarding insurance claims.
7. Electronically convey all Medicare and Medical invoices to the appropriate payer
8. Maintain records that are in accordance with generally accepted bookkeeping and accounting principles.

This is an on shore and off site tender. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than May, 19, 2011 by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings. Please refer the attachment for more details.
