Description: We are US based looking to outsource our requirement of Medical Billing Service. We are looking for Emergency Medical Billing Services. The duration of the contract is 1 year with 4 additional one year renewal period.

Scope:
1. Perform all necessary services related to the development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of a medical billing system.
2. A monthly report detailing the accounts removed from the AR balance must be provided with 100% accuracy. The report must provide the patient’s name, the county assigned ePCR/Case number, Insurance Type, Insurance Company Name and a detailed description for the reason for write off.
3. The Service Provider shall provide the Fire and Emergency Services Department with a monthly report
on the accounts receivable turnover ratio.
4. All monthly reports are to be provided by the 10th business day of the month.
5. The Service Provider’s office should operate during normal business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, EST Monday through Friday except holidays.
6. The Service Provider shall provide a local or toll free telephone number at their office that can be contacted during normal business hours.
7. We have approximately 800 firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians. The annual call volume is approximately 60,000 of which approximately 30,000 are medical transports.

This is an on shore and off site tender. Interested service providers are requested to contact no later than June, 21, 2011 by courier, post or email. Service providers may have to visit our premises for meetings or briefings. Please refer the attachment for more details.
